We went up to the cabin a couple of weeks ago. It was beautiful! The weather was perfect and we really enjoyed the peace and beauty of the mountain in the early fall. As we passed Safford and started on the road up the mountain, I wanted to grab the steering wheel and force Nolan to turn around and go back home! Why you ask? The answer is simple: Gove's rock.

Gove standing with his rock.
Gove standing with his rock.
Gove, Max and Karson sitting safely atop the horrible rock. Read on to see why this rock scares me so!
PS I have not actually seen this rock. I was not there when these photos were taken. Trust me, if I was there, these pictures would not exist. I would have never allowed Gove near that rock. Thank goodness he has a more calm and sane father than mother.
PSS Ryan was standing just out of frame. Just in case.

I didn't realize you had a cabin on Mt. Graham. Brad is from Thatcher, so we have been up there a lot.
