Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas. The kids all got bikes and a basket ball hoop along with other little things they had asked for. We had fun opening gifts all morning and playing with them all afternoon. The greatest part was actually the peace that was felt in our home all day. There was no fighting, no contention, no crying or complaining. We were all just happy and enjoyed being together. It was great. The night before we had a little family home evening on the Savior and we told the story that explains how all of the Christmas decorations are representative of Christ. Nolan read Luke chapter 2, and then we went over to my parents' house for dinner and to open pajamas. All-in-all it was a wonderful holiday and we can't wait until next year!

James decided to wake-up and was confused by pretty much everything until he opened his gift from Max - gummy worms. Then he was happy. That could have been his only gift and he still would have been thrilled!
