I realized that the last several posts have been about Gove. We do have a cute little 2 year-old living in our house, so I thought he deserved a post too! Max has, as mentioned in an earlier post, been mildy confused about Gove going to school. Today he again ran out to the garage to see what Gove was doing after I had dropped Gove at school. After a few minutes he acclimates and is no longer missing Gove, but playing with his toys. Uncle Shane is holding out hope that Max will be a basketball player. The other day he went home with his grandma after swimming and he walked into the family room where Shane was watching a ballgame. One of the players jumped and did some sort of neat basketball thing and Max stopped, watched and yelled, "Whoah!" I believe it was Shane's proudest moment as an uncle. Max is a very typical second boy. He is Gove's shadow, but wants to run faster, jump higher and get more attention than his big brother. Max and Gove generally play wonderfully, but I always have to watch out for Max because he is a little scrappy. If things aren't going his way, he will pull hair, pinch, bite and slap. Max is also a clown. he will do anything for a laugh. He makes funny faces, does somersaults, and dances if he has an appreciative audience. He is a fun little goofball who really adds some pizazz to our home.
