New Mexico

Last week we visited Nolan's family in New Mexico. We were excited to see his sister who had just returned from her mission in Russia, and the kids were excited to see all of the animals. We had a great time, but for some reason we have no pictures of us with Angela (well done Angela) and no pictures of the kids with the animals. Oh well!

This is Gove holding a horny toad. Unfortunately the lizard is flashed out (did you know a horny toad is not a toad?) We were all very proud of him for his bravery.

Max holding the horny toad. This is a better picture of the lizard. Max was not at all afraid to hold the little reptile.

Gove and Max saying goodbye to grandmother.

Did you know that horny toads squirt something that looks like blood out of their heads when threatened. We used to love playing with these lizards when we were kids. Good job boys, now just get past your fear of dogs:) MOM

I am very surprised Gove even touched the Toad, isn't he terrified of all bugs, insects, etc !
