Happy Halloween?

Well since Thanksgiving is next week, I guess I should post about our Halloween! This year, my aunt Linda and uncle Mitch threw a party for all of their grandkids and my mom's grandkids. We had a great time! The boys loved the delicious fry bread tacos, the scary spook house, all of the fun games, the pinata and of course the candy. So much work was put into this party by my aunt and uncle and it was greatly appreciated by everyone! We had a blast.

Douglas, Karson, Gove and Max

Gove and Max both wanted to be pirates this year. I decided to keep it simple and make them their pirate costumes. When I say "make" I mean cut up some clothes. There was no sewing involved! They ended-up pretty darn cute, but how could they not have? Gove's favorite part was his sword. He could have gone naked and would have been happy as long as he had that sword!

And the cutest pirate of them all - Mad Max, the fiercest pirate on the seas! Of course this is at the beginning of the party. Within about 15 mintues, he had removed most of his costume.

I never realized it until now, but Max looks so much like you ! I always thought he had more of the Martineau look, but as he gets older, he looks more like you.

That Halloween party was pretty fun ! Douglas was pretty much obsessed with that scary guy sitting on the swing : )
