He's finally here! We are so excited to welcome James into our family. He is a healthy, happy baby and is very loved by all!

Mama and James right after delivery. He is showing off his remarkable ability to hold up his head and look around like a little bird. He later tried to army crawl away.
A very excited brother Max. Max has been great. He is interested in the baby, but not too interested. He is not at all bothered by the new addition. 
Big brother Gove and James. Gove is very protective of the the new baby. When he came to visit the day after James was born, gove immediately wanted to hold him and did a great job. He sat next to me on the bed and held and talked to the "little babe-o" and then turned to me, stroked my hair, and said, "I misted you." He is a sweet boy. He also did his best to make sure Nolan was treating the baby well. He admonished him to, "be careful," and told him, "Dad, the baby is scared of you." All in an attempt to convince everyone that he should be holding the baby, not Nolan.

I am officially in love with this little guy !
To be honest, I thought that I wouldn't want to be around him. I thought it would be too hard and that it would bring back all those painful feelings of what I DON'T have. It was really hard to hold him at first and I was really scared. But once I did, I instantly fell in love with that sweet little face. So he has caused me to feel the opposite of how I thought I would.
I wonder if he and Ellie are friends : )
And you said your babies are ugly. NO WAY. He is adorable!!!

Oh my gosh....I have just laughed and laughed reading all your new posts. I need to check your blog more - I need the theropy for sure. Love it love it love it.
