Scary Man, Scary Man, where are you?

In our house we have a little Halloween decoration we affectionately call "Scary Man." None of the kids would like to find himself alone in a room with him. James is especially scared of the Scary Man. James is also a little scoundrel who thinks he is just too cute to have to listen or obey. If he just smiles and laughs a little, all around him marvel at his cuteness and disregard his naughtiness. He is quite tricky. He loves to pull out all of my pots and lids and sit on the kitchen floor spitting in them (why?), he drags pots all over the house, he pulls any and everything he can off the tables in the living room and loves to leave trails of kitchen utensils everywhere he goes. Nolan is going to put some locks on the cabinets. He even bought them. Well, that was months ago and I am here washing pots and their lids over and over again and putting them away several times daily, so I improvised. One day a light bulb went off over my head. The Scary Man! I can use his evil for good! So, I put him in the cabinet with the pots. When James opened said cabinet, there were shrieks, tears and the slamming of doors. Ha! It worked. So, in the weeks since I put my evil plan into play the Scary Man has been in every cabinet, a few drawers, the living room, in front of the boys' door when they were being put to bed, in front of my door when I was sick, in the bathroom and other places I am sure I am forgetting. I love the scary man (so does Nolan, I'm not the only evil one:). Now, I am sure some of you are thinking I am the smartest woman alive while others are thinking I am just plain mean. No worries, I assure you it is a combination of both!
