Emerald Bay

This is Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe's south shore. It is breath-takingly beautiful. There is a stream at the top of the cliffs that you can walk to to see where the waterfall starts. I cannot say enough how beautiful Lake Tahoe is. It is clean, not trash to be found anywhere. How they get people to pick-up after themselves here when it seems to be such an impossibility everywhere else is beyond me. Maybe the unreal beauty of it leaves people with such reverence for the land that they just want to take care of it. The water is crystal clear, not too cold and the sand is warm. We loved it, naked people and all!

This tree framed James and I perfectly!

Sweet brothers sitting on a huge tree that had fallen over a shallow ravine.

Okay, I had to throw this one in. Gotta love that funny Max!
