Hiking Twin Bridges Falls

So, while we were in Reno my dad took us on a short hike up a big mountain. Okay, it wasn't so short! Hiking three hours up a mountain with three little boys was an adventure. Really though, they were very good and with the exception of James hiked all on their own. It was very worth it because the hike was gorgeous! The falls were spectacular and the scenery amazing. It was one of those experiences that make you so grateful for your physical body and everything it lets you do. See, hear, smell, feel, walk, run, etc... It was a great day.

Max taking it all in!

Gove and Max at one of the awesome pools along the way. This is actually on the way back down the moutain. They are both very unhappy because they wanted to jump in the water and go swimming. They would NOT smile for this picture! Notice the clear, emerald water.

We let them go to the edge and put their hands in the water - that made them happier. Max is covering his ears because he threw a big rock in the water. Why he covers his ears for that is a question only Max can answer!
