We had a great time actually swimming in the lake. There were no fishing lines or hooks, no plants growing, no broken glass, the water was not disgusting and smelly, so you bet we swam! The water was cold at first, but after being in it for a few minutes your body acclimates and it is fine. The boys splahed in the water and shivered when they got out. They then layed on the warm sand to still their shaking little bodies! I wish the lakes here were this nice!

Sweet baby James got pretty cold and tired on afternoon after a long swim. He ended up napping on a blanket covered by a towel for more than an hour on the beach.
In the late afternoon, the waves could start to crash and all of the kids on the beach would run into the water. Here is Max warming up on the sand after playing in the waves.
