Memorial Day

I love summer. It is a time for cut-offs and flip-flops and lots of time in the pool. I already have my flip-flop tan/thong line (as my sister calls it), do you? We had a great Memorial Day. We invited my family over for swimming and a BBQ. It was great. The kids had so much fun swimming and playing and so did the adults. After swimming, we grilled some hamburgers and hot dogs and enjoyed them with some delicious deserts. MmmMmm fun. After all of their cousins left, Grandpa and Caleb came over and the boys had a great time playing with them. By the end of the day they were VERY tired and fell right to sleep. When I went in to check on them before I went to sleep, this is what I found:

Remember when you could sleep like this and wake up in the morning still able to walk and move your head? Oh the joys of childhood.

Douglas passed out last night too ! Thanks for having us over. It was a lot of fun. Douglas was so happy when he finally became brave enough to do the monkey walk in the pool ! Hopefully when Douglas is done with swim lessons, he will actually swim at your house !

So many cute faces of your boys and I love the castle bunk bed. So does this mean Gove heads to Kindergarten next year?!? How exciting!
